Menswear designer Gosha Rubchinskiy was born in Moscow, Russia in 1984 and launched his first collection in 2008. His collections are inspired by youth culture and skaters, and reference Russian religious roots. Having grown up in a country undergoing political, economic and cultural change after the dissolution of the USSR in 1991, Rubchinskiy’s designs are for a generation of post-Soviet youngsters. Rubchinskiy has been working with Comme des Garçons since 2012.
